“Celebrate the Optimism of Gardeners”
The High Altitude Garden Club is a non-profit community organization of volunteers dedicated to civic beauty, education and sound horticultural practices.
David Squire
Starting Seeds
David grew up in the Wet Mountain Valley and has been working with landscaping and
native plants for over 15 years. He has managed Native Woods since 2017. The
business introduced landscaping services (including fire mitigation) in 2018 and tree
digging services in 2021. Each year they add a variety of plants to their inventory, with
an eye towards what grows best with our region’s soil and climate conditions.
Native Woods Garden Center is locally owned family business and Custer County’s
primary source for outdoor/indoor gardening products, landscaping, fire mitigation, and tree planting services.
